The Dragon Lady

She attended an Outreach Dinner Party strictly to network, collect business cards, and leave before the speaker would begin. But she didn't manage to leave before he, a member of the President's Cabinet, began telling his story, which could have been hers: teenage child, drug addiction, suicide, etc.

Her daughter had just attempted suicide again, and she fully related with the speaker. She found herself praying and receiving Christ that night, and then tried to justify it to herself that it didn't mean a thing, they were just creating a mood. But her life began to change. A tough NYC lawyer, who had nicknames like "Dragon Lady" and "Tsarina," had become a Christian.

With serious "growing pains," she began attending a Bible study, where the other members tried to 'pray her out.' Instead, this difficult person has changed, much change has taken place, and God is now using her to influence the secular world, the New York law community, and has become a leader and an officer in her church.
